Dr. David Le earns Fellowship status with the ICOI

David Q. Le, D.D.S, F.A.G.D, F.I.C.O.I of Ashburn, Virginia, recently earned Fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). The award ceremony took place at the ICOI/New York University 20th Annual Implant Symposium on December 12, 2009 in New York City.

ICOI membership signifies commitment to continuous study and training in the field of implantology, whether placing or restoring dental implants. Our members develop professionally by participation in a "true family" of international colleagues who are deeply committed to implant education. The result is a strong foundation of quality treatment for their patients.

The awarding of Fellowship status is an honor which a professional society such as the ICOI bestows on a dental professional involved in dental implant treatment. The ICOI has a Fellowship program in which active members are encouraged to achieve Fellowship status through their efforts in education, research and actual clinical experience. Fellows of the ICOI have pursued voluntary programs that evaluate and examine their knowledge of implant dentistry by experts in the field. They have been recognized by their peers and are local leaders as well as global ambassadors. They have accepted a lifelong commitment to learning as well as to promoting ICOI's renowned international camaraderie. The International Congress of Oral Implantologists is a tax exempt, non-profit, worldwide dental education organization. It is dedicated to communicating scientific knowledge and improving the clinical practice of dental implantology worldwide. The ICOI has public information programs, publishes a bimonthly journal and a quarterly newsletter. It conducts numerous scientific symposia each year and supports research and education through its Implant Dentistry Research and Education Foundation (IDREF).
