Lonny D. Grimmer, D.D.S.
Dr. Lonny Grimmer has been practicing family and cosmetic dentistry since 1997. Originally a California native, Dr. Grimmer earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business with a minor in Japanese Language at California State University at Sacramento in 1986. Dr. Grimmer pursued a previous career in Japanese business, working for major Japanese corporations in the Los Angeles area.
Following an earlier dream to become a dentist, Dr. Grimmer moved his family to Virginia in 1993, and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia in 1997. Dr. Grimmer has and continues to take numerous continuing education courses in all phases of general dentistry, with special emphasis on cosmetic and implant disciplines.
Dr. Grimmer is an active member in many dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Greater Loudoun Study Club. He also donates his time at the Loudoun County Adult Free Clinic in Leesburg, which provides dental services for Loudoun County residents who may not otherwise be able to afford proper oral health care. He is also a delegate of the NVDS, representing Northern Virginia dentists at the annual state dental meetings.
Dr. Grimmer is also an active member of local Loudon County community affairs. He serves as a member of the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce, a board member of the Upper Loudoun Little League, a Unit Commissioner for the Boy Scouts of America, Goose Creek District, and an Assistant Cubmaster for Pack 953.
Dr. Grimmer has been married to his wife for twenty-three years and has five sons. In addition to spending time with his very active family, he enjoys playing baseball, cycling, golf, karate, going to the gym, reading, and genealogical research.
David Q. Le, D.D.S., F.A.G.D.
Dr. David Le has practiced family and cosmetic dentistry since 1997. A native of Virginia, he attended the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology in 1993. Dr. Le graduated cum laude from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia in 1997. He went on to complete a one-year General Practice Residency at the Veterans’ Affairs Medical Center in Washington, D.C. where he received further dental training with medically-compromised patients. Dr. Le continues to take numerous continuing education courses in all phases of general dentistry, with special emphasis on cosmetic and implant disciplines.
Dr. Le is an active member in several dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Christian Medical and Dental Associations, and Good Samaritan Medical Ministry. He is a delegate of the NVDS, representing Northern Virginia dentists at the annual state dental meetings.
Dr. Le received the prestigious Fellowship Award during the Academy of General Dentistry’s Convocation ceremony held in July 2005 in Washington, D.C. In order to receive this honor, Dr. Le completed 500 hours of continuing dental education, passed a comprehensive written exam and fulfilled three years of continuing membership with the AGD. The Fellowship Award symbolizes excellence in the dental profession and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Dr. Le regularly donates his time and services to the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic, providing residents of Fairfax and Arlington counties with the necessary dental care they otherwise would not be able to afford. As a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Associations and Good Samaritan Medical Ministry, Dr. Le participates in annual overseas dental mission trips to Hanoi, Vietnam. As part of the dental mission team, he provides basic dental services to the underprivileged population and presents lectures to local dentists and dental students to further their dental education.
Dr. Le has been married to his wife for seven years and has two sons. In his spare time, he enjoys travel, golf, backcountry hiking, road biking, working out at the gym, travel photography, and reading.
